Chinese ecommerce giant JD.com was involved at London Fashion Week September 2016

Olive Yanli Hou was invited by China Daily to share her opinions about what this means for JD.com.

Hou, founder of the marketing agency Olive’s Choice Creative in London, believes that JD.com’s hosting of the prestigious fashion event advances the role of the company from an ecommerce platform to a curator.

Hou explained that the six Chinese brands featured by JD.com are medium-to-upper level brands in China, indicating the company’s desire to associate itself with premium products.
